Smartcomm achieves ISO_9001:2015

We are proud to announce Smartcomm has achieved ISO_9001:2015 certification.

While excellent quality service and high customer satisfaction levels have always been important to us, this external endorsement from ISO of our commitment to quality and exceptional standards ensures we also have full transparency of our quality process and standards.

We are constantly looking at ways to innovate our processes and offerings, with a view to exceed client expectations. This is consistent with the ISO approach. The ISO_9001:2015 standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus and the necessary buy-in to this focus, from top management. It is very much a process driven approach and a culture of seeking continual improvement is important.

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system. To be awarded this certification, Smartcomm had to demonstrate the following:

a) our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) our focus on enhancing customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

While Smartcomm have an AV, IT and Communications focus, the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides.

The ISO, also known as the International Organization for Standardisation is an independent, non-government organisation. The ISO has members from 164 national standards bodies and 785 technical committees and subcommittees to take care of standards development.  More than 135 people work full time for ISO’s Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland.
