The latest PrimeResi Journal has great coverage of our stunning project at Riverwak House on the banks of the Thames.
Riverwalk is a stylish apartment building in a highly sought-after location on the banks of the River Thames in Westminster, London. The luxurious development, designed by Stirling Prize winning architects Stanton Williams, features a striking curved exterior that parellels the organic camber of the river below.
There are two buildings within the development; the West Building features 16 floors while the East Building has a further 6 floors, making a total of 116 apartments including a sublime duplex penthouse. Riverwalk’s interior has been carefully considered to maximise natural light and space, making the most of the incredible views across the Thames. Interior designer studio, United Design Partners, created an opulent scheme that exudes sophisticated, glamorous city-living.
The developers of Riverwalk, Ronson Capital Partners, approached integration expert Smartcomm for the AV, lighting and IT installation. To ensure Smartcomm met the full project brief, they needed to deliver a high quality smart home system that was stylishly discreet and easy-to-use. Smartcomm chose to integrate the Crestron solution to deliver this and much more.
The Challenge
To provide an innovative, easy-to-use automation solution to enhance the luxury of an exclusive new residential development, within a tight deadline. The technology also needed to complement the opulent and sophisticated interior design scheme.
The Solution
An integrated Crestron smart home solution to connect and control all the AV technology within each apartment, with optional upgrades including curtain and blind automation. Customised Crestron touch screens subtly enhance the interior and provide a user-friendly interface for easy control of the home.
